Circular Bioeconomy Alliance

The Circular Bioeconomy Alliance was established in 2020 by His Majesty King Charles III as The Prince of Wales and became a registered charity in 2023. Members include banks and funds, corporations, scientific organisations, indigenous communities, NGOs and companies providing expertise and implementing projects in areas related to the circular bioeconomy.

The CBA aims to accelerate the transition to a nature-first economy. Key activities include: (1) Activating and demonstrating – creating scalable ‘proof of concept’ through a global network of Living Labs that blend science, technology and Indigenous knowledge (2) Advancing and sharing knowledge – scaling learning-to-action through scientific research, knowledge sharing networks and grants (3) Connecting and facilitating: activating collaboration between pioneering businesses, science and communities. All the CBA’s work is underpinned by its Principles for Regenerative Landscapes.
